Sunao Inami (jp)
Sunao started working with synthesizers when he was 13 years old. He has a huge knowledge of analog and digital synthesis and is a key figure in the field of wavetable synthesis. After playing in the post-new wave band CONTROLLED VOLTAGE in the early '90s, he built his own Internet servers and started creating improvised electronic music. In 1998, his 1st album was released by the Belgian label, SubRosa. In 2000, he participated in the Y.M.O. (Yellow Magic Orchestra) remix project "TECHNOPOLIS 2000-00". Sunao has toured extensively in the past year, performing in Europe, the U.S. and Taiwan with other musicians and dancers, and around Japan. He also performs twice monthly in a live studio webcast series entitled "Live from Far East," and has done over 60 such webcast gigs since 2002. He runs CAVE Studio, his own label "electr-ohm" and the electronica/noise label and shop "C.U.E. records" in Kobe.

inBOIL (USA)
inBOIL is an exploration in the careful art of sound generated from silence, slowly nurtured into a saturated eclipse. This solo project of Carl Farrow uses destructive mixing techniques
to transform familiar sounds into abstract music. inBOIL often begins with a simple palette of sounds (whispers, a bell, running water) then develops these into a complex, turbulent force.
From soothing to seething, with sudden jolts and expansive floating timbres, inBOIL is an exploration of the physical nature of sound.
Hardcrushed Drive was created using the sound of a computer hard drive grinding towards death. This short performance combines my enthusiasm and frustration with technology.

Semiomime (nl)
DJ Hidden has been producing tracks for over 13 years now... 7 years as a "pro" by releasing records on various labels.
This all started off after he decided playing a musical instrument wasn't really his thing - or well... especially the part in which you have to practise. He liked composing music with his computer better and began doing so as soon as he could get his
hands on something. The first tracks were basically crap, 8-bit samples with more noise than sound - but the idea of making a track, putting it on tape and playing his friends to dead with it appealed to him. Years later, he and his partner in crime, Eye-D, send out some demos to labels and were able to do their first record. One thing has led to another...
some things have changed... but the basic idea of making music with your computer and a limited amount of equipment (and then having it released) has remained the same.
Label affiliation: Past: Mokum, Coolman, Medcom, Kultbox, Treetop, Piruh, HSC, Reload, Abstrakt, Virtual Pulse. Present & Future: Ruff-teck, Theoretic, Fear, Killing Sheep, Genosha, Black Monolith, Merck, Hong Kong Violence, Otaku.
Aliases: The Outside Agency (with Eye-D), Semiomime, The ELF Architect, Conspiracide, The Ravenous, X-Factor

Friendly Scientist (jp / uk)
Friendly Science Orchestra explores the nerve endings of emotion. We are not interested in professionalism or polish. We value the feeling above everything. We value dust and rust.
This song is a song for a very special person, written from me to that person. In this context the number 8 is very important. A little 8. Usually my collaborator Kazuya Ishigami provides important contextual sounds but on this occasion I decided to pursue a more minimal pure context, to strip the song to its bare meaning: 1 person to 1 person. Friendly Scientist and
Friendly Science Orchestra are based in Osaka, Japan and love takoyaki and kikusui.
Ian from FSO also records with Dr Tranmer as Wing Disk ("Time is running out" 10" EP, 2004, Isonauta, France) and with Nick Davidson as Pink Eye Sore ("Heaven is a cold room" CD, 2004, Kabuki Kore, UK) with David Rothon as Sore and Steal (as yet unreleased) and occasionally solo as I'm Sore ("Inside" CD, 2004, Kabuki Kore, UK).
Selected ancient discography:
1605: Pale Saints - The Comforts of Madness 1795: Spoonfed Hybrid (with Chris Trout of AC Temple) 1823: ESP Summer (with Warren Defever of His Name is Alive)
